We Are
To Stop Gun Violence!

We, the congregation of Bethesda United Methodist Church, have continued to mourn for the victims and families of those that have been touched by gun violence.  We now come together to ACT to end the plague of gun violence in our communities
Whether it is a public witness, on-going educational events or interfaith gatherings, our Wash More Feet congregation is committed to ongoing participation in the effort to curtail gun violence and promote public safety, locally and across the United States.
We ask you to join us in that effort!
Our Call to End Gun Violence
This year, at the United Methodist Church’s General Conference, the church passed a Resolution issuing “Our Call to End Gun Violence.”  You may read a copy of the Resolution here.

The Concert Across America 9.25.16
On Sunday, September 25, 2016, we will remember the forgotten victims of America’s gun violence epidemic with The Concert Across America, a series of live music events of all sizes from coast to coast. Places of worship across the country are encouraged to hold their own music event, be it humble or humongous, to raise the volume on the national effort to save lives from gun violence.

Join us in our Worship Service there will be a public witness to gun violence in conjunction with the Concert Across America.
